Governance
Powers and Duties
The Parish Council does not have major powers to carry out policies, but it is able to advise and put pressure on the district, county and national park authorities in respect to the present and future development and condition of the parish area. There are also strict rules which govern how a Parish Council is managed, and there are a number of powers and responsibilities it can use to validate its actions.
