As a Parish Council we are required to publish up to date information for Financial Transparency.

The fiscal year for the Parish Council runs from April 1st to March 31st, during which it is responsible for the proper allocation of funds raised through the precept (local taxation). 

The precept is collected on behalf of the Parish Council by North Yorkshire Council, and is paid to the Parish Council twice yearly. 

The Parish Council approves a Budget for the fiscal year and maintains Reserve funds, for urgent and contingency situations.
